The Acura fuel system consists of the gas tank, fuel pump, gas lines, fuel filter, fuel injectors or carburators and the combustion chamber.Acuras run on gasoline, ethanol gas blend, diesel fuel or biodiesel blends.
The fuel system combined with air stores and delivers fuel to the cylinders where it’s vaporized and burned to produce combustion.
Whenever you press back on your Acura’s gas pedal, then you control the quantity of air and fuel that the engine takes in. The valve while the computer controls amount of fuel, air to let in is told by the pedal.
The mixed gas is sucked into the engine cylinders, ingnited by the plug, producing a clean burn that powers the Acura.
Maintaining the fuel in the vehicle clean is very important.
Come in to have your Acura’s gas filter removed and replaced with a new one that meets with the recommendations of your manufacturer.
